Educator Workshops, Demonstration Lessons, and Roundtable Discussions

During our Educators' Day on Thursday, teachers and administrators can take advantage of our campus and energetic student body to observe dynamic demonstrations by Nueva master teachers. Participants will choose from a full day of offerings, including workshops presented by Nueva staff on innovative approaches and programs, roundtables on current topics in education, and tours of the LEED-certified buildings and surrounding grounds.

The day's agenda includes presentations around the following curricular strands:

• Innovative and Integrated Curricula
• Design Thinking, Creativity, and Cognition
• Embracing Technology and Gaming for Learning
• Cultivating Compassionate Individuals: including social emotional learning, leadership, and resiliency
• Fostering Passion and Lifelong Learning
• Innovations in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Lunch: 12:45- 1:25 pm
Sessions End: 2:30 pm

Exhibition Hall will be open from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Continuing Education Credits

Continuing Education Credit will be available through St. Mary's College. Participants who attend both Thursday and Friday will be eligible for 1 CEU for $25.00. Thursday-only and Friday-only participants are eligible for 0.5 CEU for $12.50. Forms will be available at registration the day of the conference. Checks may be written to St. Mary's College.
