Shelley Haven

Shelley Haven, ATP, RET, BSME, has worked for the past 25 years helping individuals with physical, sensory, cognitive, and learning challenges to unlock their potential with technology. She has a degree in mechanical engineering and is certified both as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and a Rehabilitation Engineering Technologist (RET). She currently works as an independent assistive technology consultant serving individuals, families, educators, school districts, private schools, and other professionals. She previously coordinated AT training for all schools districts in northern Arizona under a state-funded program. More recently (2000-2008), she directed AT resources and services for Stanford University's Office of Accessible Education (OAE). Shelley was also instrumental in establishing the Schwab Learning Center at Stanford, a division of the OAE which provides enhanced services and resources for students with learning differences and ADHD.
