Dale Jacknow

Dale Jacknow, M.D., is a Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician in private practice in the Bay Area. She brings over 20 years of experience to her practice working with children who have a diverse range of neurodevelopmental issues, including autistic spectrum disorders, genetic disorders, Tourette’s Syndrome, ADHD, learning differences, and matters related to international adoption. She also has extensive experience working with twice exceptional children, such as gifted children with Asperger’s Syndrome, executive functioning disorders, and learning differences.

The focus of her practice is not only on understanding a child’s developmental challenges, but also on how to harness the strengths that help the individual reach his or her potential. The relationships she forms with her patients and their families are both sources of deep enrichment and constant learning for her. Dr. Jacknow’s practice has attracted patients from all over world, including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. She has been interviewed on syndicated radio as well as local television. She formerly served on the clinical faculty of Stanford University Medical Center and UCSF Medical Center and has lectured widely on topics related to child development and neurobiology.
